We follow the lives of two Turks and two New Zealanders whose grandfathers fought in the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915, a decisive battle that ended in favor of the Turks but forged a unique bond between Turks and the ANZAC forces—Australians and New Zealanders—from the other side of the world, which, under normal circumstances, would have been unlikely.
