Written by Turkish veteran thespian, playwright, and director Haldun Dormen, and recognized as the first Turkish musical to be staged on Broadway, "The Joint Venture Company of Wonders" is one of the most frequently performed musicals in Türkiye. When the lead singer of a traveling theater troupe touring rural Türkiye is transferred to another music hall, the troupe embarks on a search for a replacement, sparking unexpected events when a village lord falls in love with the new lead. This 1981 TV series adaptation of the musical features some of the brightest talents of that era in the country including Adile Naşit, Erol Evgin, and Nevra Serezli.
