Kind-hearted Eşref loses both the woman he loves and his standing in the community when the story he has long embraced about his grandfather being a fallen war hero is revealed to be false. Years later, his path crosses with Major Harun, who stands against the coup plotters on the night of July 15, 2016. Working together to thwart the coup's plans, Eşref transforms from a man underestimated throughout his life into a modern embodiment of Sütçü Ayvaz, a hero of the Battle of Sakarya.
