Based on Turkish writer Faik Baysal's novel of the same name, "The Man in the Jar" follows the unsettling transformation of Semih. After the tragic loss of his son, Semih—once an intellectually vibrant man—falls ill and is diagnosed with a brain tumor. His only hope for survival is a brain transplant, but the donor is an uneducated laborer with a history of violent, homicidal behavior.
