Feyzo is a poor man whose only dream is to marry the girl he loves, Gülo, after returning from the army. However, to do so, he must gather enough money for the bride price. Determined, he heads to the big city to work and save. But back in his village, the oppressive manorial system and the local overlord continually thwart his plans. Armed with the knowledge of rights and freedom he gains in the city, Feyzo decides to fight back, sparking an insurrection against the unjust system.
