Synopsis:
After the fire, Fuat, left orphaned and without parents, is taken in by his neighbors. From a letter he finds in a chest salvaged from the burnt house, Fuat learns that he has relatives living in Skopje. He asks his older brother, Ali, for help in traveling to Skopje, so he sets out on a perilous journey into the heart of the Balkans.
