For generations, elves have lived underground, avoiding all contact with humans. But spirited young elf Helvi is determined to change that. Alongside her two friends, she bravely ventures to the surface to discover the world of humans. After a series of adventures, Helvi forms an unlikely friendship with Theo, a grumpy pastry chef whose beloved bakery is on the brink of closure.
