Synopsis:
Based on Turkish author Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar's novel, "Wedded Beneath the Comet" follows İrfan Galip, a man born with a silver spoon and a self-proclaimed intellectual obsessed with the Halley Comet, rumored to collide with Earth on May 5, 1910. He makes it his mission to raise awareness among the public, gathering a group of women in the city to spread the news. However, his true intention is to mock their ignorance and naivety. In the meantime, he begins a correspondence with a mysterious woman and falls in love with her. Her only condition for accepting his marriage proposal is that he must not see her until after the comet has passed.
